Over 3,000 pupils in Medway have taken part in a competition to see who can move the most miles as part of the Medway Can campaign.
Schools across the region were challenged to get pupils moving more for the chance to win hundreds of pounds in sports equipment vouchers in the Medway Can Comp.
Together, children and teachers logged over 37,500 miles on medwaycan.com – this amazing effort is more than the entire distance around the globe.
The school that scooped the top prize of £500 for the most miles moved per pupil was Top of the Hill Pre-School, Rochester.
Councillor David Brake, Chair of the Medway Health and Wellbeing Board, presented the school with their prize and treated them to a couple of stories about travelling the world.
Pupils ranged from 2-16-years-old across Medway and there were a host of other winners too, including:
Walderslade Primary School for best social media contribution. Check out their post here:

There was also room for a few highly commended awards to go to: The Rowans AP, Parkwood Christian Fellowship Pre-School and St Thomas of Canterbury CPS.
Congratulations to all the winners and a huge thank you to all the schools who got involved in the Medway Can Comp.
