Types of information that we process
To allow us to deliver our required services we may process different types of information. This includes the information shown below:
If you submit an enquiry to us via either email using a website contact form, Hitch Marketing Limited will only keep your data (email correspondence) for 12-months, after which it will be deleted.
To find out what information we hold about you, you need to make a Subject Access Request in writing. If you wish to exercise any of your other information rights please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are not satisfied with the response from us you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. For further details on this and your information rights please visit the Information Commissioner’s website (opens in a new tab).
When you submit information to us via our activity tracker tool, we will store your submitted name, email address, the type of activity and distance you have completed, and your preferences regarding competition and contact.
If you have opted in to be contacted as part of our prize draws, your information will be stored for 12-months, or until the competition has closed and all winners have been selected (whichever is sooner). If you are a winner, we will contact you using the email address you have provided.
If you have opted to be contacted about the campaign, we will continue to provide you with campaign updates via email until the conclusion of the Medway Can campaign, which is currently forecast to last for up to 24-months (to June 2024). If the campaign is further extended, then we will contact you to confirm you wish to remain on our mailing list.
IP Addresses and Analytics
We make use of Google Analytics to collect information including behaviour patterns to improve the content provided to you on this site. If you would like to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics, you can update your Cookie Settings from our Cookies page. Alternatively, you can download the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Otherwise we’ll assume you’re OK to continue using Google Analytics.
